Jonathan Baker and Benedikta Ársælsdóttir explore as a solemn promise an emotional state of feeling isolated and seeking comfort in each other, like pigeons gathering at your local square, with their EP ´feathers´. The duo creates a sound that’s vulnerable yet abrasive, combining sonic elements of industrial and neoclassical.
Taking turns on both suffocating and stunning chanting, every note emotes soreness and slowly increases intimate menace. While Jonathan and Benedikta’s sophisticated layers breathe for overwhelming impact and the contrast in ambience results in perfectly woven compositions.
