The French four-handed entity Second Spectre comes with A Cast of Memories, a cursed diary in sound that guides you through their history over the course of every single memory.
Transporting us with the fusion of shrilling drones and aptly placed sacramental undertones for inner reflections. On top, the duo isn’t afraid to experiment with various tempos and rough elements which makes everything collide into bursts of harsh expression. Resolving in a haunting, painful but beautiful affair.
Originally released in 2020 on cassette by Strange Therapy, in 2023 re-issued on vinyl as a collaborative effort with WV Sorcerer – including a remix by Perfect Tension.
